i have a 990FXA-GD65V2 mobo which I think runs only 1.5v RAM. Is the Crucial Ballistix Low Profile Ram (Model #BLS8G3D1609ES2LX0) Dual voltage?
So it can swith from 1.35v to 1.5v?

The RAM doesn't do its own voltage. It has to accept whatever the motherboard gives it. It should run fine at 1.5v. Alternately, if the motherboard is set to AUTO for voltage, it may give it 1.35v even if it doesn't have that as a manual setting.

That ram DDR3 1600 Ballistix VLP has a 1.35v and a 1.50v XMP profiles.
The mb gave it 1.5v by default .
Runs good at 1866 10-10-28-10 with 1.41v
