Is "CPU External Frequency" the same as FSB?

I have been reading this forum for hours and see people saying that they got 150, 160,175, etc.. FSB. They talk about multipliers and unlocking the CPU. I have read many overclocking guides but I am still confused because many of the guides refer to terms that are totally differnt than the terms in my A7N8X BIOS. so..

Please explain to me using the exact terms in my "advanced chipset features" on my A7N8X BIOS.

CPU External Frequency
CPU Frequency multiplier setting
CPU Frequency multiplier
Memory frequency

First I do have the newest beta bios so I have possible 250 FSB and I have been able to change the multiplier so I can get 16x133 and my CPU overclocks, however, when I tried changing the FSB from 133 to 150 in the "CPU External Frequency" option it wouldnt post. I am not sure if I did it right. How do I change the settings so that I can get the higher FSB, overclock the CPU higher than 1997mhz and get a good post?

Which areas do I change in this BIOS terms?

I would like to add one little thing:

Frequency is a more specific thing referring to the actual clock frequency being driven across a bus. A bus, however, may be expressed by its clock frequency, or its clock frequency x data rate. So a CPU with an external frequency of 100MHz may have a FSB of 200MHz DDR. Get it?
