I would like to hear someone with first hand experience of this mem.
My plan: A7V333 + Corsair XMS2700C2 256M DDR333
Reason: CAS 2.0
Scared: But this mem is not in the list of Tested and Qualified DIMM list in ASUS website.

Alternative: A7V333 + KingMax 256M DDR333 (Model MPMB62D-68KX3)

Any comments? This is my first time asking question here.

Thank you.

I'm using the Kingmax 256MB DDR333 in my A7V333 right now. I've only tried the Kingmax and Samsung modules so far and they both work fine. The Corsair should work fine as well although you'll probably have to play around with the cas settings. I don't know why but my specific board only reads single modules properly in socket #3. Asus sent me a replacement board and it does the same thing. I've got a XP2000+ @ 141MHZ and 4:5 ratio and it's rock stable with either memory brand. So, I'm not worried about it. But, if you don't know about this memory controller quirk and try logically putting your memory into socket #1(banks 0,1), some real hair pulling can result due to the instability.

My rig,
A7V333 no raid, Bios 1008 and
Corsair XMS2700 256mb DDR333 set at 4:5 ratio, TURBO, CAS 2/3/3/5 and 1T precharge

No problems so far.

I have a mate with a very similar rig using KINGMAX and he seems to crash a bit to often for my tastes, that doesnt mean its the memory though.

Good luck :)
