corona is alright it is not the best but sometimes it hits the spot perfectly

it is certainly not as bad as - steel reserve , natural ice , natural ice light, milwalkee's best , milwalkee's best light etc.

i would certainly drink corona over budweiser, coors or miller
 
it's ok, but only with lime. and only if I'm in the right mood.

I can think of countless stouts, IPAs, etc. that I'd take over it though

so basically you have to make it cold (so you taste it less), then overwhelm your taste buds with citric acid and salt before ingesting any corona. then, since you can't taste it at all, it's "great."
 
had newcastle tonight, gotta say i'm not sure i can drink corona again.

unless the choices are bud, coors, or miller.
 
corona and lime is pretty good, but once you progress to bass, anchor steam, yuengling, carling, carlsberg etc... you sorta keep it as a summertime thing only. and if anyone else mentions beamish i'm going to take a dump under your pillows while you sleep.

how do you get drunk off beer I get sick of it after 3 or 4 and that doesn't even get me buzzed

I'm barely drunk after half a bottle of 80proof hard liquer

Guess what, most people do get drunk off half a bottle of 80 proof liquor. Just because you can't get drunk off beer doesn't mean other people can't.

BTW, not sure how you can get sick of beer but not of half a bottle of hard liquor.

It's overrated, and barely average without a lime. However, I will concede that Corona has done a great job of establishing its "refreshing on the beach" type of image....and it works very well. Kinda like a placebo effect.

Plus, they're only $1/bottle during happy hour at nearby sushi place here. But then, the pint bottles of Kirin are only $2.50 during happy hour as well, so I usually go for those anyway, and some 2-for-1 sushi. .....Now I'm hungry!

Guess what, most people do get drunk off half a bottle of 80 proof liquor. Just because you can't get drunk off beer doesn't mean other people can't.

BTW, not sure how you can get sick of beer but not of half a bottle of hard liquor.

good liquor goes down easy...me and my roommate did some cinamin snops last night that stuff was awsome.

I like beer just don't like it enough to drink the amount it would take me ot get drunk and hung over (although I've never been hungover and i've drank to the point of puking a few times)

Well, schnapps is another story, as it is usually quite sweet and masks the taste of alcohol, not to mention that a lot of schnapps are low in alcohol per volume.

no this stuff was pretty pottent it was 95 proof. forget its name now but it was the type with gold flakes in it.

but my normal drink for doing shots it teqiula which is awsome

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Goldschlagger.

The last time I had tequila was such an unpleasant experience (well, the first few hrs were nice) that I haven't had any since. Downed 10 shots in an hr with some friends, and washed it all down with a beer :beer:
 
everyone knows malt liquor is where its at 🙂

Olde English is such a classy drink, how could anyone step down to beer from malt?
