Is condemned 1 good?

I just finished condemned 2 and it was freakin awesome. Ive heard the forensic stuff in the first condemned is a PITA and all the bad things about it were taken out in condemned 2. How annoying is it really? If i liked condemned 2 will i like the first one?
 
The forensics in the first one weren't a PITA, they were way too easy. They completely held your hand the entire way. Also the combat wasn't nearly as fleshed out as in 2. I think you might not like 1 very much because 2 fixed so many of the issues. BUT 1 still had great atmosphere and was a good game despite some problems.
 
I loved number 1 but I haven't played 2 so I can't compare, the atmosphere was pretty cool, the forensics stuff weren't annoying, they were just pointless.
 
I still have it in the shrinkwrap, I bought it a few months back and havent had time to play..

I found it at Gamestop brand new for $5, they still had a few last time I was down there.. Might be worth a peek if you have one local.

I have both in the shrink wrap. One day I'll hopefully have time to play them. 🙁
 
yeah Condemned 1 was cool. It was quite linear, but it was cool to pick up random things, off the floor and what not and use it as weapons.(i played the PC version though) graphically it looked very nice. i have not tried the 2nd one yet though.
 
Played it on the PC and it was one of the scariest/creepiest games I've ever played. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

yeah, played the demo for Condemned 2, and it made me so damn jumpy. those junkies running around freaked me out.
 
1 was one of my favorite games of all time. I just picked up C2 and can't wait to start it.
