is coffee bad in all of California?

I've been in LA since Tuesday... I've had coffee in multiple places (restaurants, coffee shops, the hotel lobby) and goddamned, it's all pretty terrible and weak.

am I just having bad luck or is this natural in California?

For real coffee, you have to go to street vendors. 🙂

Generally I drink "Nestle 1+2" in my office.Maybe not good for health,I want to change to pure coffee.

V-60 pourovers are all the rage. This place uses beans from Handsome Coffee Roasters and sits on a coffee warmer as it drips. Great pie too if you're in the area.

Restaurants and hotels generally have shitty coffee, even the expensive ones pimping beans from a quality roaster. Major chains are usually pretty consistent regardless of market in my experience...one of the few good things about Starbucks.

Go find an Intelligentsia, I think there are 3 or 4 in the LA area.

oh,that's a kind of coffee, nescafe ,made by nestle company.
That's "nescafe 1+2" .It has trans fat,so maybe not good for health.

really? no real coffee?
the fuck?

oh well you guys have pot... here, you get arrested for a gram...

Gotcha so, does it have any redeeming qualities? Hallucinatory, keeps you up three days straight or, guaranteed to make you lose 10 pounds?

I guess people really will drink anything.

Japanese have vending machines that sell canned coffee. And they are warmed up. Yes, they heat the can.
