Is COD shipping safe?

A guy wants to buy something from me and wants me to ship COD. The other way he says he can pay is with a credit card. I haven't shipped anything COD in 10 years...is COD shipping safe or is there any scam I should look out for?

dont bother, find someone who is willing to pay the way you want to be paid. i dont know how safe it is, but i wouldnt ship anything until i have the money in my account
