Is Cirque Du Soleil "O" worth it?

I got 4 tix for this Saturday in Vegas....

is it worth it? Are all the seats the same, or does it really matter to pay a lot of money for seats?

Thanks!

If you've already got the tickets, go. I hear it's amazing. Not sure on the seating arrangements, though.

I'm the kind of guy who'd enjoy seeing Blue Man Group a bit more though, I think.

i would rather see that too...

but i am going w/my g/f..who has wanted to go since the beginning of time.

It's supposed to be really good. If I was going to Vegas, it would be on the top of my list of things to see.

well if you like artistic gymnastic, you'll love O.

Lots of water attractions, well all of it actually. All very good athletes.

Yes seats does matter. Make sure you don't purchase obstructed seats.

Have fun. I will be watching Lance burton on my next trip 🙂

There's not a bad seat in the place, really. Very well designed venue.

i've seen Lance Burton, and David Copperfield...

after this, i want to see Blue Man Group!!!

CdS is great! I saw Allegria and that was afreaking awesome...Verekai (sp?) is here in town too, so i am getting tix for that in Oct....

in the front row, will i get all splashed and wet?

I saw CdS's Saltimbanco a couple of years ago, when they came to town... It was an AMAZING show!

But no, it doesn't really matter so much where you sit. But if you sit up close or in the aisles, you have a greater chance of getting messed with by the performers. 🙂

man. your guys' posts got me all pumped up!!

i've been trying to score some decent tickets for a lONG time....

finally got some!

This must be a "I have a girl with me, I must take her to a show thing" not for a bunch of guys in Vegas.

$100 is too steep for me...I'd rather plunk my $100 on RED.

i figure i will plunk down $250 on a blackjack hand...and if i win...then i win!

if not. crap.

Eh, the show is okay at best.

Compared to the other Cirque shows I have seen live (Varakai, Quidam, Mystere) it seemed to be a lot more "special effects" then anything else. But then again, I am a love Cirque du Soleil more then most people and have seen their shows so many times I could compare "O" a lot more then other people could.

One thing to note: DO NOT GET LIMITED VIEW SEATS. Get the seats as close to the middle as you can since so much happens towards the back. If you are on the sides you will miss a lot.

For "O" I really didnt want to even give a standing applause since I was so let down.

I went to go see Mystere the next day though, and was completely blown away by it. That one was much better in my opinion.

But, if you have never seen a Cirque show and "O" is your first you won't be let down.

And eat at the Bellagio buffet before the show. If you don't you will be missing the best buffet in the United States.
