No wonder people call it X-mas then. Heck, take the 'Christ' right out. But what can I say. I'm Christian, but I do admit this holiday was put where it was to appease Christians and Pagans by Constantine, I think. He took two celebrations and jammed them together.
Celebrate what you will, but I think most Christians still look at is as a holy holiday.

Actually, using the "X" isn't as secular as it may seem. The Greek letter chi (symbolized by an 'x') is the first letter in the Greek spelling of the name of Christ. The "X-mas" spelling is probably a corruption of that.
And as long as it's called "Christmas" most people will probably think of it as a religious holiday.

Trust me. Polite and reasonable as your explanation sounds, it's hogwash. 'Xmas' is just a propaganda goal of bastardization by left-wing athiest Christian-haters to rid Jesus Christ out of everyone's lives. Christ belongs in the word Christmas, and taking it out and replacing it with an X is offensive to Christians. Whether you recognize him as The Son of God or one of world history's great philosophers, don't X Him out.
