?

As opposed to Physics? I'm not aiming for IVY-League colleges.. Just normal cheap @$$ community colleges

BTW: I hate science & I don't want anything to do with it.

Physics and Chemistry are two classes I think everyone should take in highschool. It's just stuff you should know.

Besides, take Chem in HS and Chem 100/101 will be super easy when you're getting your AAS.

Exactly. Although you dont have to take both, I would recomend it.
You do need one lab science, so physics and chem are good choices. Biology is another popular example.

General Ed always includes some science and it will be a lot easier to handle and to have exposure in high school than try to learn from scratch in college.

Hmm, most of the slackers I knew took Geology. Very easy science class and it has a lab.

gah geology is USELESS.

if you want something practical, physics is the way to go.

though i'm a chem fan myself.

I think most high schools require you to take at least 1 lab science?

my school district requires 4. earth science, biology, chemistry, physics.

I was a business major, and did not have to take anything more than a semester of geology and geography. I hated science classes, and I'm glad I didn't put up with chemistry or physics in HS. So it depends on what your major is, and your desire to take said classes.

Hey, I don't disagree. But it is the easiest lab science class IMO. Since the OP says he hates science and wants nothing to do with it, this seems like the best course for him.

Study of rocks and that crap. I took Geography since it's one of the easiest examination courses here. I'm going for business/finance route so I'm probably going to drop Physics

Physics will teach you how to think very differently. Chemistry has too many rules to learn and not enough math :p.

Chemistry is more like a math class than a science class, as far as the type of thought that goes into it. I hate science as well, but after taking Earth Science and Biology early in high school I noticed Chemistry was more similar to my algebra courses.

Of course physics is probably the same way, so it doesn't matter.

definitely take chemistry in high school. because if you don't and you have to take it in college it'll be torture.
