is Centurion 534 a good case?

looks good with 120 mm fans although it would require to obtain another one for the rear exhaust. Cooler Master has very good build quality and the toolless installation is definitely a help. however, it doesn't have a removable mobo tray, which is pretty important for those who spend a lot of time poking around the motherboard and internal components.

The Centurions with 120mm fan mounts f/r are decent cases. The provided user guide is useless as are most CM manuals. Future dictionaries will link a pic of a group of CM manuals to the word "useless". No mid-tower I know of has a removable mobo tray or drawer AND a 120mm rear fan - so you have to choose which is more important. The 534 is reasonably deep (at about 19") and has toolless drive mounts (making it easy to move the optical drives out of the way) so working inside should not be too much of a problem.

The Kingwin 523 is the same case w/ a different bezel.

Zepper: Explain why my Raidmax X-1 has a removable mobo tray AND a 120 mm rear fan (as well as a 120 mm front intake...or make that two in my case) 😛 .

RM,
. That's a first, but the reason is obvious and without need of explanation. IAC, I left myself plenty of wiggle room if you actually read my post. But... the X-1 case width is 8" which I consider max for a mid-tower design and they use a tray that drops out the right side rather than a drawer. Can you remove the tray with both mobo and cards still attached? My Berserker allows that but the rear fan isn't 120mm unless I wish to "Make it so!". Anyhoo, now I know of it... 😉 (Raidmax stuff is not usually even on my radar scope.)
. Seems like the only thing it lacks to make it a recommendable case is anti-vibe busings for the HD. Certainly it isn't any uglier than the Antec P180... Who knows, Raidmax may get the hang of it yet.

Look at the Akasa one that G-Y has been drooling over. It's well over 8" wide so that it can have a drawer (a snazzy stainless steel one no less) and a 12cm rear fan.
