Sucks to be me...I go to a public uni. in a state where prisoners apparently matter more than students. We have no cable TV across campus and my particular campus -- the oldest in the uni. that incidentally houses the most prestigious college in the uni. -- will not have cable for several years. The football stadium for a team that's won 4 games in the last 3 years is pretty damn nice, and I hear the prisons are nice, too: free cable, free education, free meals, no RU screw.

[edit]We do have ethernet in about half the dorms, though (most beds in any college in the US, give or take) and the wiring is rather humorous...So is about half the resnet staff (or more).[/edit]

We have it... sorta... at marist.

See.. the school has a 'dish network' subscription, which is run into a room with a zillion splitters, and then run to all the buildings. The reception is horrible, you can almost always see one of the other channels in the background of the channel you're watching. Plus we have 48 channels... from a dish?

There are cable jacks in my dorm but you have to pay for it if you want to use it. At least the ethernet connection is free..
