The networks usually give a warning of a pre-empt , nobody has mentioned it that is why I was wondering.

They will somewhat hide the prez, but the VP will be the real backup. Haven't you noticed that since 9/11, the VP has essentially disapeared???

The news channels I have been following say Bush will address the nation shortly after the action starts, its probably too late tonight.

Well he's had 48 hours to practice it. I say he needs another 24 to get it down before he's ready to go in front of the nation

Might be right, it is already 4 AM there. A two hour window of darkness if you can call it that with a full moon.

I think the best way for him to tell Sadaam his time's up is to drop one of those MOABs right on Saddam's palace.

Nope. He'll make an announcement after action has commenced, after the primary targets are taken care of. Actually, from what I've seen, nothing will probably happen for a couple more days. Supposed to be lots of dust storms right now and also it's near a full moon.
