Is Borat even all that funny?

I saw him on Leno last night. His character was terrible. He came across like he was some nerdy college guy in costume who couldn't act much and didn't pull off the fake foreign guy very well at all.

I loved Jackass... but Borat was not as funny as I thought it would be. I think the commercials are hilarious and a number of the parts are great...but the movie as a whole was hard to sit through...it felt like the same thing over and over. Hilarioius at the beginning...somewhat tired by the end.
