Is Bin Laden really dead or was it a hoax?

I agree with you. When we have a government that lies to us practically on a daily basis, I have to wonder if they even know how to tell the truth. I have no real doubts that Bin Laden is dead, but I have doubts about WHEN he died. I have no proof of any kind one way or the other, it is just a feeling I have, but to my mind this whole thing doesn't seem right somehow.

Well he can't still be alive, way to easy to debunk and discredit - more likley is proof of demise was finally obtained, remember people have been saying he's been dead 7 years, and the administration stepped in and seized opportunity.

We know some type of operation took place due to the photos of the copter and tweets that took place during the event.

But is is possible that he was already dead and hiding etc etc.
But I highly doubt that was the case. Too many people involved to keep it a secret, unless everyone was lied too.

The video from the carrier should put this all to rest. There are too many people on a ship like that to keep something secret.

I think it is all fake. One reason I say this is there is no body for the public to see. The second reason I am saying this is near the end of the first Afganistan conflict it was reported that he was using dialisis to stay alive. For this reason, I think he died years ago. This does not make sense. It is all a fake. They checked his DNA and then when it did not match, they dumped the body at sea.

Wasn't he living across the street from a hospital?

No, although the Taliban has demanded proof that he was killed.

I highly doubt he is still alive, because if he was staging his death would extremely risky, but he may have died of natural causes.

I'm not saying I believe either way, I'm just saying the official story sounds fishy, and if they don't release pictures or any other proof, than it's even more fishy.

Again I don't believe he is still alive, but may have died of natural causes. Bush swore to bring Osama to justice in 2001. If the US failed to do that for 10 years and then he finally dies of natural causes, that looks very bad. A stunt like this can bring much needed public support for the war in Afghanistan.

The flip side of the coin is if he did die of natural causes, there is the possibility that someone could come forward with proof that that's the case, such as presenting the body. However, we don't know what the government really knows. They could already be in possession of all incriminating evidence. Maybe they recently found his decomposed body and that's why they decided to do this.

Do most of you guys believe the President's story or also wonder whether it was a hoax?

Lets approach this subject rationally for a four minutes.

Why would Mr Obama bother? There was no expectations that he would or should find bin Laden. And lying about taking bin Laden out would be death for his political career.

It were a hoax, then the real Bin Laden would release a new tape making Obama look like a fool. Anyway, Osama has been irrelevant for a long time. His death is just symbolic, just to make sheeple happy.
