I suppose it could be legit and reliable, but eevry scam attempt I have had from Craigslist always wants to pay by that method.

So, you turned down that person then? If not what info is required of me to give to this person using bidpay? He/she wants my home address info to send the payment. I told them I would not ship until payment had been received....

BidPay (formerly Western Union Auction Payments) offers online auction payment
services. Pay for auction purchases and send a money order online quickly and ...

send them poo, if you gonna send them anything.

The ones I usually get they can't spell correctly or use sentence structure correctly. This guy is in constant touch with me (business hours 10am-8pm). So, you guys are suggesting I tell the guy to ah heck off unless he can send a cashiers cheque, money order?

Be polite, but be firm on whatever you chose for your methods of payment. I usually require USPS money order, cashier's check, or Paypal, and that they wait for it to go through.

I just replied to his mail i just received and I let him/her know I will not ship until payment clears. I'd also needs his/her address to be verified, so I asked for the info so that I could call his/her local City Hall/police dept. to confirm residence.

Yeah, (sigh) so is the way of trying to sell your rig to people who are not willing to pay what your asking (it's even including shipping) I'm not going to unercut my bottom line again like I did on my last rig just to get a laptop.

Heh, at least I sold my board for more then AT'ers were willing to pay.
