Is BeOS (or BlueOS) here to stay?

Just wanted your opinions on whether or not this OS will grow. If you believe it will grow, how fast and how far?

Maybe I missed something, but I thought beos for the desktop died and they went to try and do integrated stuff and failed or something. be dead?

BeOS is being reborn again in BlueOS ( BeOS with a Linux kernel instead of Unix ), FreeBeOS, and several other open source or GPL BeOS's.

Hell ya!!! They said it was dead, but oh no. BeOS is back for more! Hopefully, this time they will support more hardware. I'm not saying it's a bad OS, it just never had enough time to produce compatibility. I'm sure the new distros will rock. 😀

Well, the guy who wrote Be's file system has just defected to Apple. It seems that Apple is going to get the best of Mac, FreeBSD, NeXT, and Be... That would be interesting.
