Is b-channel a normal ISDN line one use to get internet connection?

I have ISDN which entails two b channels @ 64K and a seperate line for call waiting and Caller ID.

Jop, the B-Channels are for phoning or data transfer (64k each),
the D-Channel is for communication-protocoll-issues (16k).

confirming what the doctor said, I have ISDN also.

ISDN does require a special line, but the special part of it usually starts outside of your house/apartment. Installation involves the Telco coming out and changing some wires around in their boxes and flipping some software switches. You won't have to rewire your house unless your inside wiring breaks one rule: the line your ISDN modem is connected to must be the end of the line and it cannot be shared with phones.
