Is average good enough?

For you, is being average and riding the tide of mediocrity good enough? Or do you always have a desire to be above average? This is in application to anything in general that you do.

Above average isn't good enough for me. I want to be the best at what I do and I want to be the best person I can possibly become.

Even below average can be good enough. Lowering your standards is the only way to achieve satisfaction in many situations.

Well it's all well and good to say that above average isn't good enough, but in the end it's not possible for everyone to do that in every way so there are always the ones who have to settle with being average or below.

No everyone can be well above average if they want to, but most of society settles for less. And there are plenty of people out there who are perfectly fine with average.

I'm just saying anything short of the best isnt good enough for ME!
