Is ATI going to phase out the x1900xt 512MB and only have the 256mb versions available?

I know the 1900xtx is being retired and I think the 512mb of the xt is going the same way, but I just want to be sure. While this makes sense because there was little to differentiate the xt and xtx lines before, I'm interested in a 512mb card now...and I'm wondering if I should make the plunge sooner rather then later.

Also...I've noticed AC hasn't continued their awesome silencer line for the x1900 series and just has the accelero. It seems to cool well, but I want a cooler that pushes heat directly out the back instead of just blowing it around in the case. Are there other options available?
