Guys, need some help with this board from ASUS. Is ASUS P5KPL-VM any good for a low cost setup?

I will try to OC a Q6600 using this, can I reach 3.0 Ghz using this?

I was planning to but Gigabyte G33-DS2R or AsuS P5K-VM before but I cannot find it here in Manila anymore so I'll go for a G31 chipset board.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Its a budget mobo that doesnt overclock. Right now your best choice for overclocking is the DS2R and the P5K-VM. The newly released ASUS P5E-VM HDMI is a good overclocker according to early reports. Only availble in Europe so far from what I have heard. Probably hit U.S. shores in December. It has a vdrop problem but there is already a vdrop mod avalible for it.

Thanks Skott,

I'll probably wait for ASUS P5E-VM HDMI for now if it will be released here in Manila.
