Hi,

Intel i5 3570K
G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x4GB 1600MHz DDR3
Sapphire HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB GDDR5

is the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 is the best choise for this build?

thx

seems remarkably similar to a computer I just built.
The asrock z77 extreme 4 is a great board for a great price.
If it does all the things you need it to, go for it!

There is no "best choice," any Z77 board would work. You're not giving us any sort of indication of what criteria it has to fit. Is it a solid board? Yes, it is. Try providing a little more information and people can better decide if there's a better board that suits your needs.

Disreguard this post ^^

Yes that board is great, it kicks much of the rear.

I run the Extreme 4 in my build. Great board.

Only gripe is that it isn't full ATX size, so you have to be careful when plugging in the motherboard power.

There's no reason to tell someone to disregard my post simply because you disagree with it. It's a perfectly valid post as opposed to yours. He provided so very little information no one can possibly say for certain the Extreme4 is the best board for him. We don't even know what kind of case he's putting it in. Pretty stupid to tell someone to get an ATX board if it's not going in an ATX case. Does he have use for FireWire? Extreme4 doesn't have it. It's these moronic, blind recommendations like yours that cause problems for the uninformed.
