they get a lot of good buzz... I listened to their album, though, and just couldn't get into it, which was kinda weird since that's usually the type of music I dig.

Hint....hang around the front stage and wait for the show to start. Arcade fire want people to dance, and have a good time and will eventually tell people to rush the stage...they have done it at a lot of shows. I had row kk seats...tahts in the back. I was talking wtih my friend before the show started who had front row and bam..lights went down..i just stayed there.

i saw them a couple of weekends ago and they are an amazing live band. their live show makes their albums seem somewhat dull (especially the new album)

I'll go out on a limb and say they've been way way overhyped (although you'd never guess it from the reaction in this thread :roll: ). They're good, and put on a good live show, but they're not the saviors of rock music that a lot of people are making them out to be.
