is Apple Laser writer 600 printer networkable?

i have an Apple Laser writer 600 printer with parallel, serial, and that Apple port(i dont know what it is called).
any way this Apple keyboard-like port came with some kinda gear to provide the interface with the RJ-45 cabling
the server i use is W2K server SP3.
the question is: is there a possible way to make this printer networkable. and if yes, what are the steps i should
take to do, knowing that i cant find any way to communicate with priner to give an IP for example.
please advice me

I believe you could always hook it up to a print server if all else fails but I'm not up on mac info so I can't help too much, sorry.

i didnt know it is sucha tough question.
but here is a hint: i was told before i take on my responsibilty over my corporate network that this very printer was all the networkable without any problem, te difference between now and then is that the DC with had Win NT installed had been changed with a more powerful W2K one. the that is is fuctioning right now.
so.....
what next?
