is APEX AD500A dvd player fine?

I 'm up to buy a dvd player and I saw this model.
It's 100 bucks.Has any of you guys ever got one of them?

I don't think that this model plays MP3s. Invest a couple more bux to get the MP3 model.

I don't have one but I've heard they suck. Supposedly they're the brand that you get free when you buy a TV at Circuit City or something like that.
