So you're paying the AOL monthly fee just for an E-mail address? Or do you get to keep it after you cancel?

Lazy.

Well family decided on keeping aol as BYOA which is i think 9.99 a month, and the dsl we have is capped at 4megabits, dads company pays for it 🙂 So basicly 9.99 a month, and everyone in the family keeps their aol screename which they can use on aol/aim and their email.

<< 15 bucks for BYOA is outrageous! what a ripoff. >>

I agree. AOL needs more revenue to pay for all of the expansion and mergers.

I pay for just the email address and the use of their 800 number when I travel to check email with my palm. I only have the 3 hour/month limited access plan for $4 or 5 a month. I was also not willing to change an email address I've held onto for 9 years. Amazingly I get more spam on both my yahoo and hotmail accounts than the aol one. Go fig.
