As the title says, I'd like to get your informed opinions about which, if any, of the listed power supplies is "good enough" for my usage. By that I mean it is unlikely to fail in the next 5 years, and extremely unlikely to take any other components with it if it does. I live in Cambodia so the selection is limited. In a perfect world, or one in which I did not have a family to support and COVID-19's impact on my business to contend with, I'd buy an FSP 750G Hydro G for $90 and call it a day, but that is not possible now. (The 650G is not available here.) While I use the computer an average of 10 hours a day and leave it running 24/7, I am not a gamer and I rarely put stress on the CPU for more than a few minutes at a time. I don't upgrade or change computers often. The one I am replacing is an 8 year old i7-3770 ThinkCentre, and I'm only doing so because I need more RAM for running multiple VMs simultaneously for website development, and my kids need a computer for school work which this one can handle admirably. So I expect to get at least 5 years of use out of the new PC before I hand it down. It will contain a mixture of new parts and ones I already have, the relevant ones being: Ryzen 2600+, 2x16GB of memory, GT1050, 512GB SATA SSD, and a 750GB HDD. I will not be overclocking. The climate is hot (in-rooms temps of 30C - 33C), humid, and very dusty. Power fluctuations and outages are routine.

Below is an exhaustive list of what is available in my price range, with what I already know to be complete junk eliminated, along with any units that waste money on RGB. My budget is $50 or less, which is about 10% of the cost of the whole PC, so the highest priced units on this list are already stretching it.

Cooler Master MWE 80 Plus White-V2 450W/550W (230V only) - $39/$45
Cougar VTC 400w 80 Plus White - $39
Gigabyte P450B - $45
Corsair CV450 80 Plus Bronze - $45
Thermaltake Litepower 450W - $45
FSP Hyper K HP500S 80 Plus White - $49 (230V only - Russian review Link removed)
DeepCool DA500 80 Plus Bronze - $50
Xigmatek Hydra M 80 Plus Bronze 550W - $55
Cooler Master MWE 80 Plus White-V2 650W - full voltage range, I think - $55
DeepCool DN650 80 Plus - $55
Gigabyte PB500 80 Plus Bronze - $55

Thanks for your input.

Hmm, I don't know enough about those models of PSUs to help you. Those are mostly 2nd-tier and 3rd-tier PSUs. No EVGA, no Seasonic, no Enermax, no Antec...

1) If any of them are actually mfg'ed by Seasonic, I would start there. (Investigate who ACTUALLY makes the PSU in question.)

2) If none of them are, then consider how they are rated. Find out if any of them are rated to spec, @ 40C or @ 50C. Since you are in a high-temp environment, you will want a PSU that is specced accurately and will provide enough power in your temp ranges. Don't forget, the PSU itself, internally, will be running at quite a bit higher than ambient temps, even though it has a fan.

3) Lastly, and related to that, consider which PSUs have a higher 80Plus efficiency rating, so that they don't get so hot by themselves.

ThermalTake is known to not have good efficiency, so they're out.

I personally lean towards the CoolerMaster MWE PSU at the top of the list, with the caveat that you would have to check #2 out.

Secondarily, I would choose one of the 80Plus Bronze units.

OK, after hours and hours of further research, thanks to Google Translate I've managed to find detailed reviews of most of the units on my list. The exceptions are the P450B and the 230v version of the MWE V2. I've narrowed my choice down to these units.

Xigmatek Hydra M 550W $55
Gigabyte P450B/P550B $45/$55
Corsair CV450/550 $45/$55
Cooler Master MWE 80 Plus White-V2 550W (230V only) $39/$45

Does anyone have any insights into any of these particular models that can help me make a final decision?

And I have now removed the Corsair CV from consideration as I discovered that the operating temperature range is given as 0-30C, which will regularly be exceeded just by the ambient temperature. The MVE is 0-40C. Does anyone have any idea how to find out the range for the Gigabyte or Xigmatek units? The info is not available on either of their their websites that I can find, nor is it in the downloadable manual for the Gigabyte PSU. I've asked on their Facebook pages but I don't know if I will get a response.
