Is anyone tired of thier job?

I'm talking about so tired of your job, that if you were sure that you could find another within a month that you'd just walk out today.

Use that energy today to make a plan to get out. Then everyday make a call, send an email to make it happen,

Good luck!

In the meantime, work harder than you have before. dont let anyone know that you are looking.

good luck!

every day

The biggest problem with getting a new job, is that Intel laid off a ton of people a couple years ago so the job market's flooded. One engineer ended up working at a plumbing supply store, and then got laid off from that. Another tried to become a driver for a propane company. Hell, my dad had tons of contacts and 31 years experience in the telco industry, and when a company that he was working for laid him off he was out of a job for a year.

I am tired of it some days but other days its enjoyable to some degree.

Every job is going to suck on some level, wether its some assvhole co-worker, stress, customers, hours and the list goes on.

For me, the job itself isn't that bad, my boss is pretty good, the people in my department are generally pretty good. But the upper management seems like they want to do an IPO, take the money, and sell to a large company. In the last three years, my pay increases haven't matched the commuting cost increases, there's a "Quality Engineer" that does everything he can to piss off everyone that he can, helps nothing, gets in the way of every project, but it's impossible to get his boss to get on this guy's ass. The company has changed owners three times in six years and I'm just tired of dealing with all the bullshit.

i hate it, it's annoying fixing other people's problems that i don't care about, and of course like everyone, i want more $
