Dell sucks - just got off the phone with a CSR rep related to a dif't purchase. I bought an HP camera with a $50 rebate. Turns out the $50 rebate advertized by Dell specifically excludes the model that I purchased.
The rep said that I should contact HP, since it is their rebate. I told her that Dell was the one who made the advertisement, and I purchased it from the Dell site, so Dell should be responsible...
She subsequently transferred my call to the wrong department, and then they, I assume, inadvertently hung up on me. I was nice as pie throughout the call, and she (the one who did not lose $50) had an attitude with me.
Dell Customer Service sucks...
