Is anyone playing Witcher 2 on a sub-$1k laptop?

I've been wanting to play Witcher 2 but don't want to spend the money if it barely runs at the lowest settings. I think my laptop's dedicated card would be fair for realy low res and all low settings, but the CPU has me worried. Is the game CPU intensive?

specs:
A8-3500m
6GB DDR3
6750m. 1GB DDR5, 600/800 (can be crossfired with integrated 6620g, though probably makes little difference)
