First time I've played any SOCOM game... still adjusting... Kinda reminds of the old SWAT games..

I had a KZ3 voucher which only just went active I think.

Yeah, I played it some last week when it became available to PS Plus members (yes, I paid for that 😛).

Pretty good game but I still haven't gotten used to the PS3 controller and I'm new to SOCOM so I suck right now. I did go through two games in where I was mopped up without dying though.
 
Since I still suck I often die quickly and end up watching the rest of the game for 5 mins..
 
Sony is a joke. I dowloaded the beta and went to play it last night and I have a 1.5 gb update install? Gotta love those smart people.
 
So I got a PS Move to play KZ3 and sport champions in best buy was pretty fun so..

But man SOCOM 4 is like perfect for PS Move, I didn't really like the game before, I couldn't get into it, but with the move and nav controller, I am digging how it feels and plays.
 
I played a few matches last night, and really enjoyed it. I had planned on getting it thru gamefly, but now I am thinking I will buy it.
 
This is making me jealous. SOCOM II was probably my favorite online game of all time. Good ol' days 🙂
 
I am thinking I will trade in Crysis 2 and pick this up when it comes out. I just need to finish what Crytek calls a story so I am ready for Socom when it comes out.
 
Silly noob question, but, on PS3 how do you communicate with teammates? I've only played the COD online on xbox and it comes with a headset...
 
Please tell me they fixed the controller layout? I remember picking up an old PS2 and the socom series only to find out the controls are horrible.
 
I meant, it seems like every exclusive on Playstation always has huge updates. I can't remember that last time I had a beta that needed a 1 gig update on the 360.

They're not necessarily 'updates'. You download a couple hundred meg installer, which then needs to download all the content when run for the first.
 
I should get the demo.. I did pre-order the Full Deployment edition cause it seems like a good deal for a game+move+eye+nav controller.

Man that looks like an amazing deal actually. Too bad I just picked up the move starter plus nav separate. I didn't even see that kit.

Oh well, I dunno if I'd even use the sharp shooter though, I kinda like just holding the move in my lap, I imagine the sharp shooter would get tiresome.

Either way, that's a pretty good deal its like you're getting the game for free with a move pack.
