To all,

Is anyone using any sis645 chipset motherboard with a 3.3volt AGP card?
I wanting to get a Gigabyte GA-8SDX, but I want to use my V5500 with it.
Some manufaturers claim they are compatible. ABIT and SOLTEX in fact
Thanks an Advance

I think you mean the 8SRX. The 8SDX uses the 845 chip I believe. I have the 8SRX and I have having stability issue with it when I install the driver for my Radeon 8500. Without the driver I can get my 1.6a@2400 stable. With driver I can't get it stable even when is not o/ced. I like the board a lot cause it real easy to o/c but its pissing me off that I can use my 8500. I am hoping a new bios or driver might fix it.

Update F15,
I bought an Epox 4SDA/1.8a/256 crucial oem. I get no crashes at 2.4g until i run a game or prime95!!!
Prime will not run untill I reduce my cpu speed. First good test of prime(5hrs) completed at 124mHz FSB.
I could go/try faster. When prime failed at 2.4G(133mHz FSB) it only took a couple of minutes.
NOTE: I can run many benchmarks at 2.4G. Sandra, pcmark,3Dmark2001se, Hot cpu tester 2 lite...ect. All other benchmarks completed without halting or crashing. Some can be run overnight(Hot cpu lite), and were!
I'm requesting other using sis 645 chipsets try prime95. Torcher/ normal operations are the tests that fail.
