I don't get the people who say that nothing matters, because we're all just dust anyway. The sun will eventually suck in the earth. What we do doesn't matter. Even our grand achievements will all eventually crumble into the earth, etc. It's true. But I believe that we need to some something to look forward too.
The thing is if you trully practice nihilism than why do anything worthwhile? Why go to school? Work? Attend college? Have a family. Make money, etc.. We are all going to die anyway. I'd like to think that life has some meaning. You could argue that nothing has meaning, because in the end everything vanishes and dies. Jordan Peterson, clinical psychologist whose currently very popular on YT has stated that that are many more nihilistic young people than ever before. I wonder why?
