Is anyone having difficulty downloading upgrades from MS for XP right now?

I all of a sudden have been having a great deal of problems trying to download upgrades from MS for WinXP.

Download times are either EXTREMELY slow, or don't start at all.

Can someone do a check for me, and see if they experience the same problems. I have been trying for the last 24 hours or so.

I was updating a freinds new Dell yesterday arounf noon Pacific time and the update download was very slow. He's on 768 DSL and it took almost 20 minutes to d/l 22Mb of files.

I don't think funky MS updates are too out of the ordinary, it seems like there's always people complaining about how slow it is. You gotta figure the WinUpdate site is always getting hammered what with MS releasing new security fixes as often as they do.
