Is anyone going to make a 1GB version of the 4870?

Anyone knows the answer to this one? any plans on making a 1GB version by any company? rumors? paper launches?

What about aftermarket coolers on the 4870? or 4850 (needs it more)

Yes the 1 GB version of the ATI 4870 should be out during the end of July.

Yep, here're pics of the 1GB version of the 4850 (it's one of the first non-reference designs).
