"Aerodynamic" plastic shrouding....wow that's great in case one needs to launch their mobo into the air at a high rate of speed.

I'd have to say it looks pretty badass, but I don't think it'll be worth whatever ridiculous fee they charge for it.

Really? That's not really too bad at all.

I know right?

Now do I wait again to get THAT board for THIS build?

I don't think they're "sold out everywhere," I don't think they've been released yet...except in VERY limited quantities for testing and reviewing.

It's definitely a "sexy" motherboard...

This sounds cool, but necessary? Hardly. Well maybe if you're gaming in a war zone.

TUF Components
Get rugged performance even in the most challenging conditions with robust TUF chokes, solid capacitors, and MOSFETs--certified through third-party, military-grade testing. TUF Chokes, also known as the “Alloy Choke”, is a made of a compound of various types of metal instead of standard iron, enabling the support of up to a massive 40A of rated current, 25% higher than conventional components. Furthermore, the single piece packaging also eliminates the emission of vibration noise, delivering superb characteristics as well as durability under extreme conditions.

Im thinking that cover would hinder cooling of the mobo components. seems like a bad idea.

"TUF Thermal Armor

Total Airflow-Boosting Heat Dissipation
The TUF Thermal Armor is the world’s first ever thermal design for the entire motherboard, not just for select critical areas. It safeguards the system against hot air generated by connected cards and components, keeping temps down. With its sophisticated and agile integrated shunt design, the Thermal Armor improves cool air circulation, directing it towards every important part for a complete motherboard cool down. It effectively conducts hot air away and out of the case through special airflow channels, contributing to enhanced system stability and extending component lifespan."

"TUF Thermal Radar

Real Time Temp Detection and Heat Removal
The TUF Thermal Radar monitors temps in critical parts of the motherboard in real time, automatically adjusting fan speeds to make sure the system maintains high stability without overheating. It consists of multiple sensors for various components on the motherboard, giving users the ability to monitor each one individually. The Thermal Radar automatically calculates ideal fan speeds based on different parameters selected by users for each component, keeping everything cooler and longer lasting."

Of course, while that all sounds good...how it works in real life applications is another thing.

Sounds like we're gonna find out soon enough.

especially if you use a towercooler that does not blow down on the CPU. The pictures make it even pretty obvious, that it might not work or does not really need to work (marketing).

I guess most people buying this board won't use the stock heatsink...

Do you have to take that silly "thermal armor" off, to reach the CLEAR CMOS jumper? I don't see it on the outside area on those pics.
