Is anyone familiar with LCD light leakage and Dell laptops?

What is light leakage all about? I saw a FAQ at another forum and it showed a picture of an LCD that had light leakage. I made my all black screen saver come on and at SOME angles it looks as though there is light leakage however when I put it at other angles it looks fine. Is this just due to the angle of the LCD or what?

I thought all laptops had light leakage? I know little about this, but mine has it too and the Notebook forum (where I assume you got your information as well) said that the level I have is excessive, but personnally, I dont notice it except when I boot up the laptop (I do not watch dvds on my laptop).

You can always complain to Dell but I doubt they will offer a return for this issue.
