Is anyone familiar w/ Zalman fans...

$5.50 from SVC. It includes a capacitor to slow it down to the 28CFM / 20db level......

Or are there better alternatives

I like the panaflo L1A fans but have wondered about the Zalman also. I bought a 80mm Vantec once and didn't like it.

Zalman are good high quality quet fans...had 2 and was impressed but moved on to L.E.D.s

Zalman fans are junk. I got two of those 80mm and both started vibrating so loudly after a year so I threw em away. They must have crappy bearings or something. They start out nice and quiet but they wont last long.
