Is anyone else's Gattaca DVD labeled backwards?

the "Widescreen" and "NTSC" labels on my disc are reversed... I have to put it in upside down. Was this on a lot of them, or just mine?

I don't think there's a standard... on some of my DVDs, playing widescreen means placing the widescreen logo up... on others, playing widescreen means placing the logo down..

well, that's stupid. It should be: Side you want to play - down.

I thought it was what you wanted to play facing up. that's how most of my DVD's are.. what of yours are the other way?

Everything that's one-sided.

I dunno, I guess I can look and check them all.

yeah, but you put the side with the information you want to play facing down.

I don't have many double-sided discs (maybe 20), but with all of the ones I have I put the widescreen label UP if I want to watch widescreen (meaning the actual widescreen recording is on the opposite side, facing down). This is by design. If any of yours are different (i.e widescreen label on the same side as widescreen data) then I think it's a manufacturing mistake.
