You should see "After the Catch." See they've decided to mix it up a bit. Instead of showing them catching crab, they have all the captains and the Dirty Jobs guy sit in a a dark studio made to look like a bar and talk about catching crab.

Yes, it's flat out ridiculous.
 
Any new good shows on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, or other educational channel? I kind of like Verminators, but I need more....
 
I am tired of Ice Road Truckers going on and on about how dangerous the ice is. I know I am not the smartest guy in the world but I got it after the 5,747,676,038,590,567,490,347,394,058,596,095,745,868,346,235 time they mentioned it.

Deadliest Catch never really interested me. They could've made a single hour long show and it would've been more than enough to satiate my interest in that.

Ice Road Truckers was ok the first season, however they like to take content and stretch it into twice as long as it really should be. The new season is quite underwhelming and why they chose the two pansy guys to continue is beyond me.

Tougher in Alaska isn't that good, the guy is kinda annoying too.

Axmen was just not good at all I thought. The guys on it seemed more stupid than tough and it never seemed to really go anywhere. I have no clue why they used Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower for their theme song either.

Monsterquest is mostly stupid (some of the conclusions they draw and the way they go about trying to investigate is just silly), Mega Disasters is too.

I actually kind of like that show. The guy is irritating, but watching the extremes people have to endure to live in Alaska is interesting.

Yes, I am sick of Deadliest Catch. But I'm also sick of the dumbing down of so many other shows that are on Discovery. I'm sick of the false drama. When We Left Earth - very good footage, but very annoying with the constant "tension" and "drama" that the show's directors/producers tried to put in. Too many of those, "Would this be the end of the space program? Dun dun duuuunnnnnn...." Then come back from commercial, "No, it wasn't the end of the space program. What a twist!"
