Is anyone else sick of reading/seeing people getting beaten/killed/tortured/doing sick things on the internet?

I'm getting sick of it. Every time i look at a news website or digg or something, theres a video of someone getting beaten, someone dying, or some sick shit that parents do to kids, or a guy getting tortured to death.

I just dont watch it anymore. Anyone else?

i dont read news sites. actually, i treat the internet as it should be... entertainment. thats why i browse here, i know the "good" stuff will be here first. hell, the local radio dj does a news segment of weird news and ive yet to hear one that i didnt see here the day before. i stay away from news and opinion sites online and i dont watch tv news. i dont read the paper anymore either, life has been pretty solid lately

Its always been like that, however the difference is that media today is more wide spread, more readily available and grows each year. the negativity of the world has not changed at all, todays media just prevents people from being naive or oblivious about it but only if they read/watch it.
now just imagine all the stuff around the world that only gets local media coverage or is never publically known about.
