I make the distinction b/w sushi and sashimi.

on occasions a spicy roll makes it to my plate 🙂

Sushi is pretty good. If it wasn't for the soy sauce and wasabi to mask the taste though, I think it'd make me queasy.
 
The real key is finding a good Sushi chef..there is Sushi , then there is SUSHI!

Ive heard that even the body temperature or tendancy for the hands to get overly warm can make or break the Sushi..so not just anyone can be a Sushi chef , you have to be born with certain traits.
