I hope it doesn't become a real problem, but man am I glad we got this mad cow scare! I bought a bunch of Rib Eye's, New York Strips, and T-bones today, all for $3.99 a pound! Before the scare, it was fricken $8.49 a pound for the very same meats!

Who else has reaped the rewards of much lower beef prices due to mad cow?

I haven't seen any change in the price of ground beef so I refuse to buy any. But the price of milk did fall to 1.50 dollars I don't know if that has anything to do with mad cow but either way I saved 50 cents.

Realistically ? I'm just thrilled that a potentialy fatal disease may have entered our food supply through neglect and cronyism.

BSE is 100% fatal, nothing potential about it :(
