Is anyone else getting artifacts in Sims 2 with the official Cat 4.9s?

I rolled back to the 4.2s and things seem all right, but I want to make sure.

After 10 minutes of playing with the official 4.9s I would get major artifacting whenever an animation would play. ATITool's artifact test ran for 30 minutes and found nothing, but it has been wrong before.
