Is anyone as impressed with Essential/Qwest?

For me at least:

Essential = 53cents/month
Vartec (I use them for my LD) = $4.95/mo and 5cents/min. on all LD.
$100 back from Essential when I signed up.

So, where are the junk fees? I gotta be missing something somewhere.
Nope, I've never dialed on Qwest...just Vartec.

Randy, Vartec has no fees if you dial the 10-10-811 number, at least in my experience. I use it exclusively for long distance. And yep, Essential kindly gave me $100. Beats MCI, Sprint, and AT&T for service so far, also!

unxpurg8d--Thanks for the heads up. I think I looked into this. Either the minimum was higher than I wanted or I had to consider the time or in state/out of state? I'm too lame to think.

I keep thinking that I'm gonna see a whole bunch of junk fees show up....so far nada. They ain't jokin'?

quest = .53 month... i only got $50 I don't even use it. heh. wasn't there a time commitment we had to keep so we didn't get charged the money we got as a bonus for switchin ?? .53 cents a month can add up

lnguyen--LOL....yeah, I think it was 6 months (you might want to check). So far, I have no reason to change, until someone comes out with unlimited flat rate, which I expect within 2 years.
