They probably have ICMP turned off at their firewall.

Thanks. A customer sent me a message showing all the timeouts, but that last line ("Destination net unreachable.") only appeared when I tried to trace it myself.

From Cox in Arizona, once I get to San Jose, I get tons of "Request timed out." I'm up to 70 hops, and get nearly 60 "Request timed out." messages. I'm NOT seeing a "Destination net unreachable." message at the end.

If I had to hazard a guess, they are probably using a CDN and may be trying to mask that fact. Why? Hey, it's Apple...
