I am surprised it took this long to happen. Regardless, it sounds like a great idea but a little scary. I can't help but think of psychopaths when I think of programs like this or the ones where you give strangers rides.

Anyway, any success (or horror) stories? I know the doing the bike ride used it.

Yeah man. My friend and I backpacked China last year and stayed at one guys place. I'm all about randomness and adventure. Most the people I've met on there are really cool. I'm planning on using it in the future again.

wow, it is pretty likely I would offer my apt to someone on AT that I "knew" but complete strangers? Very strange. Then again, friends of friends who I know nothing about have crashed at my place before so they didn't drive drunk. Guess that's not really any different.
