I started posting 8 days before I turned 16, I never had any age related problems.. I don't understand that point in the post. Perhaps some examples to reinforce whatever point you're trying to make?

He's just trying to point out the fact that he's older than that entire age group, and somehow, in his diluted mind, he's better than them.

from "A Teenager's Place to Vent" thread:

On a side note, I think it's pretty cool that you shared your age, and I think the older folks on the forums need to know that places like this are a haven for younger guys like us. Every day, we have serious opinions that we'd like to express, but are usually drown out by "age stereotyping." When we are just a username, just an avatar, it's so much more easy to be taken seriously by folks with the same interests we have. That means more than words can describe, and is extremely important. I consider myself to be a mature teen, and although I'm a bit older than this guy is, I still feel like I'm not taken seriously in everyday life. I truly appreciate being able to come here and discuss any topic any time and have my opinions and views respected just as well as any person 20 years older than me. In that sense, forums are by far one of the best things that have come out of the internet.

If you can pick out the people who frequent this forum who are under 18 withut prior knowledge of age, purely by their post content then i for one will let you ban them, i dont think you could, there are too many immature elders and mature young adults.

Who cares? Some people who have been here 4 years + might have been around that age? It doesn't matter to me

Take it easy... some of us old codgers have to think about rearing an heir... a replacement if you will for when we have gone on to do more productive things (yeah right!). Well OK that could take some time but when that moment does arrive we will be glad to have fully trained and certified replacements to continue Neffing in our honor.

I don't mind teens posting, most of them have some pretty interesting comments, viewpoints, opinions, etc...

I find YAGT's amusing, and thank god I'm 1.) Not single & 2.) Not going through all the teen angst of relationships

Sides, they'll have to pay for my Social Security in a few more years, I'll just humor them:D
