Is any one a fan of the band "Joy Division?"

This was the first incarnation of New Order. The name was changed after the lead singer hung him self before a show in 1980.

A few of there songs are good, and have them in my collection, but the rest can go in the trash.

I love JD, although l like new order more.

True Faith is possibly my favourite song

I've always liked New Order but they were a much darker band when they were Joy Division. I tend to like that side of them more. I think my favorite J.D. song is Dead Souls.

Joy Division was awesome. I still listen to them often.

New Order lacks the edge that JD had. I mean the music was so much more intense and passionate.

I like both, but for different reasons.

corporate pop, sigh. this period of music reminds me of that period in the 50s of these agent-created bands like the Bouffants and such, of people who could barely dance, barely sing, couldn't write a lick of music if they're life depended on it, and definitely couldn't play an instrument.
