All guys seem to care about with female actresses are their looks as indicated by the keyboard porn stars in this thread, so they're never taken seriously in their flim roles. Meryl Streep is one of the better actresses of all time, and it's because she can actually act, not because horny losers are worried about beating off to her pictures and movies. While thinking of Angelina Jolie, i like the movie changeling as well.
She was in that movie for once not the laws of nature defying huge boobed but super thin broad that at the same time seemed to possess the muscle strength and agility of Schwarzenegger , Lundgren, Clarke Duncan, Chan and van Damme combined.

I haven't seen Changeling. Her performances in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Wanted aren't great. I'd go so far as say she's entertaining in those movies, but compare that to Brad Pitt's acting in Seven, or in Twelve Monkeys, or Fight Club.

I guess part of the problem with making comparisons is that she's done few serious roles in her career. Nothing wrong with that if that's not the sort of thing she wants to do, of course.

Salt was pretty good, but Jolie is definitely one of those actors/actresses who really just plays themselves in various skits. Others include:

John Travolta
Tom Cruise
Jimmy Caan
Shia LaBeof
Tim Robbins
Brad Pitt
Tons of others...

Good actors are few and far between. They usually bring about character that makes you forget who they are in real life, which is why the people above aren't good actors by that definition, because they have such stark, extreme, one dimensional personalities.

Christian Bale is a pretty good example of a better than average actor if I had to come up with an A-lister off the cuff.

I think Cage is an incredibly talented actor. I just didn't want to bring it up because he's gone absolutely insane in recent years and has really tarnished that reputation.

I never liked Jolie. She's too weird looking. I would've liked Salt a lot better if they had cast someone like Milla Jovovich. She's better looking and can actually do action sequences well.
